Commander Lee Norton, Defence Adviser of the United Kingdom, and Syed Habibur Rahman, Trade and Investment Manager, visited Bangladesh Maritime University (BMU) and met the Honourable Vice Chancellor, Rear Admiral Dr. Khandakar Akhter Hossain, NBP, NUP, ndc, psc, PhD.
During the meeting, they discussed potential collaboration between BMU and UK universities and educational institutions to strengthen maritime education and research. Both sides expressed their interest in establishing a long-term academic partnership for mutual development.
